Per March 1st 2019, Jacco ter Schegget started as CEO Publicis Group Belgium and The Netherlands, overseeing the Publicis Group and it’s brands.
Originally from the Netherlands, Jacco ter Schegget spent the last five years in Asia where he focused on company and marketing transformation. In these years he built a successful track record turning agencies around in China and South East Asia for WPP companies Ogilvy and JWT.
During his tenure in Asia, Ter Schegget has been a C-suite advisor to brands such as Korean Air, H&M, Chevron, IHG, and the Singapore Government where he consulted CMOs and CEOs on how to build a winning brand, and how to leverage digital technologies successfully.
Prior to this, Jacco spend 7 years as European President, Tribal Worldwide and co-CEO DDB & Tribal Amsterdam. In this period, he built a team winning Agency of the Year at Eurobest, Dutch Agency of the year and various other industry accolades. In addition, Tribal DDB Amsterdam won a Cannes Grand Prix and ranked no. 5 at the Gunn Report (ranking world’s most creative agencies). Key client relationships during this period included: KLM, Philips, Achmea, McDonald’s, P&G.
During his two decades in the industry, Ter Schegget has been named a Top Agency Leader in Europe, China and Southeast Asia, by various industry publications.
