Boxpo, Edouard Schneider, and OFCORES: An Artful Collaboration for a Cause

Attendees of last year’s BAM Marketing Congress might remember the stunning live painting on a shipping container by artist Edouard Schneider. Sponsored by Boxpo and ACB Group, this project transformed a utilitarian container into “The Dazzle Creature,” a captivating blend of art and storytelling that drew inspiration from WWI’s dazzle camouflage*.

The container journeyed around the globe for a year, sharing its story through a scannable QR code that tracked its adventures. This unique initiative not only showcased art but also emphasized sustainability by highlighting the ecological footprint of its voyage.

After its global travels, “The Dazzle Creature” returned to Belgium where it was carefully cut into individual pieces, each paired with an exclusive NFT. This allows collectors the rare opportunity to own both a physical fragment of the container and a digital representation—melding the tangible with the digital, history with modernity.

Now, BAM Marketing Congress, in collaboration with Boxpo and OFCORES, is excited to announce the next chapter of this journey. On November 21st, we invite art enthusiasts and marketers alike to discover these unique pieces and submit bids under closed envelopes. The proceeds will go to vzw Kindergeluk, a charity supported by JOE FM’s “Pakje van je Hart” initiative. The final piece of the container will be auctioned live during the congress.

This project exemplifies how art, sustainability, and innovation can intersect to create something truly memorable and impactful. Don’t miss this chance to become part of an extraordinary story—and contribute to a meaningful cause.

*WWI's dazzle camouflage was a type of ship camouflage using bold, geometric patterns to confuse enemy submarines. Instead of concealing the ship, it disrupted visual perception, making it hard to estimate the ship's speed and direction, thus protecting it from attacks.

The BAM Marketing Congress is your annual meet-up with professionals passionate about marketing.
