From a corporate career at L'Oréal to his own Organic Skincare Brand for men 🌱

Hadi spent 13 years working for the beauty giant before branching out on his own.

Now, he is the founder of Clyde For Men - Belgium's first all-natural, organic skincare brand tailored specifically for men.

During his talk, he will share more about his entrepreneurial journey.

Fresh out of Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, he joined L'Oréal Belgium in 1996 and he stayed there until 2009. His 13 years at the beauty giant deeply fuelled his passion and expertise in the cosmetic industry.

But throughout all that time, an entrepreneurial itch was brewing.

He dreamed of launching his line of men's cosmetics. Unfortunately, the barriers seemed too high at the time. Startup costs, distribution, marketing - as an aspiring young founder, it felt out of reach.

So the idea remained on the back burner.

Fast forward 15 years, and the tables have turned.

E-commerce and social media have dramatically lowered the barriers to entry. The men's grooming market is absolutely booming. So he revived his project... and in September 2022, Clyde For Men was born. 

He will explain to us all the steps to create a brand from scratch and share his entrepreneurial story.

Biography

Hadi Kamouh is the founder of Clyde For Men, the first Belgian Natural Skincare Brand for Men. His passions include premium branding & positioning, as well as the Cosmetics & Beauty industry.

Born in Lebanon and educated in Belgium at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management, his multicultural background has enriched his international experience across Europe, Middle-East & Africa.

His background spans:
- a multisector corporate career with leadership roles in FMCG & Cosmetics (L’Oréal), Luxury (LVMH/Dior), Travel & Leisure (Club Med), and Banking & Financial Services (Degroof Petercam).
- strong project management and business continuity skills, demonstrated through multiple roles as interim manager and independent consultant.
- a large expertise and deep focus on P&L Management, Marketing, Sales, Growth, Strategy and Branding.
