Myriam Schächtel
"Human curiosity is limitless"
Summary
Discover how human curiosity is fundamentally limitless and how the integration of Artificial Intelligence into search technology is creating a seismic shift in discovery. This expansion occurs because AI effectively lowers the barrier to asking questions and receiving high-quality answers, dramatically increasing demand from users—particularly high-intensity groups like Gen Z - to seek more information than ever before. AI represents the most profound technological change for Search, transforming the experience from mere information retrieval to true intelligence with the goal of making it effortless. This transformation includes handling Increased Question Complexity, with AI allowing questions often two to three times the length of traditional searches, providing richer context to understand user intent. Search is also now enhanced by Multimodal Capabilities, enabling search via images, voice, video, and in real-time, with conversational features and advanced reasoning, helping users to learn, explore, and deepen their questions like never before.
Ultimately, the evolution of Search is guided by an understanding of human curiosity, and this new era empowers the technology to transform that curiosity into fresh discovery and confident decision-making.
